When gliding by the Bashee isles we emerged at last upon the great South Sea.
Ichiban in Japanese means ‘the first’. Originally established as Ichiban Noodle Café in Queen Street in 1998 before expanding to Ichiban West End in 2002, Ichiban was one of the first restaurants offering Japanese cuisine in Glasgow. Since opening in2002 Ichiban West End has built a reputation for fast, flavoursome and fresh food. To maintain the high standards that have made us a success, we at Ichiban West End have made the decision to expand our menu and offer a wider variety of the flavours of Asia, thus we have changed our name to Ichiban Fusion. Now other varieties of oriental cuisines, including Chinese and Thai dishes, are available alongside the traditional Japanese cuisine and sushi we are renowned for. As always all our food continues to be freshly prepared, using authentic ingredients. At Ichiban Fusion, we have created an informal open relaxed atmosphere, our large long dinning benches are perfect for larger gathering. We have special lunch menus available Monday to Saturday ( 12 – 4 pm) and special pre-theatre menus available Monday to Saturday ( 4 – 7 pm) & Sunday ( 1- 4 pm).
